³⁶ Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king. He ruled for eleven years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zebidah the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah. ³⁷ Jehoiakim did what was sinful in the eyes of the Lord. He did just as his fathers had done.
